Optimized a premium retail brand into a high performance commerce experience.

Challenge

Designer Appliances set out to elevate the appliance buying experience for a modern, design conscious audience. As a premium regional retailer serving New Jersey and New York, they needed a digital presence that reflected the quality of their showrooms while driving measurable e commerce performance.

The existing experience did not fully connect inspiration with transaction. Remodel galleries, educational content, product discovery, and purchasing lived in separate silos. The goal was to unify these touchpoints into a seamless platform that could inspire, inform, and convert in a single journey.

The site needed to function as both a lifestyle brand and a high performance retail engine.

Approach

We began with a strategic brand workshop to clarify positioning, audience expectations, and competitive differentiation. The core insight was simple. Customers were not just buying appliances. They were investing in their homes.

From there, we built a digital architecture that balanced inspiration with utility. Remodel galleries, buying guides, and educational content were integrated directly into product pathways. Filtering, comparison tools, and detailed specifications were designed for speed and clarity.

• Strong typographic hierarchy

• Intuitive product discovery and filtering

• Mobile first performance optimization

Every decision supported trust, usability, and conversion.

Solution

The result was a clean, confident commerce experience that blended storytelling and transaction without friction. A restrained white and red palette reinforced brand recognition while allowing product photography and remodel imagery to lead.

Content and commerce were unified into a single scalable system. Customers could move from inspiration to specification to purchase without losing context.

Following launch, the platform delivered measurable growth, including a 38 percent increase in online revenue, a 24 percent lift in average session duration, and improved mobile conversion rates across key product categories.

The brand now performs digitally at the same level as its premium showroom experience.
